Once learned, the techniques used to make these unique dishes can take you to the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, the American Southwest and more by using different ingredients and spice blends. We’ll talk about various flavor profiles and practical variations of these recipes. Greek Zucchini Balls “Kolokithokefthedes” – fresh, zingy and flavorful, bake or fry into a crispy vegetable appetizer, snack or side dish. Turkish Sarma – meat and rice (or vegetarian) filled cabbage rolls, stewed in an exotic spiced sauce make a one dish meal.
