Service Description

A selection of antipasti from three regions of Italy, each one a light meal or serve all three for an exciting dinner with friends. This is a good knife skills class. Sausage and Mozzarella Crostoni - Heaven! from Tuscany, toasted rustic bread rubbed with garlic, covered with a mixture of handmade fennel sausage and fresh mozzarella cheese, broiled. Warm salad of shrimp, radicchio, arugula and balsamico - this is wonderful! From Emilia-Romagna, julienned radicchio & arugula make a base for wild- caught red shrimps, quickly pan seared and then finished in a reduction of white wine and balsamic vinegar which also dresses the lettuces. Caponata -- Sweet & sour vegetable compote from Sicily that keeps a long time in the fridge. Great to have on hand as a perfect starter, side salad or even a sandwich.
